The Sports Association, HKUSTSU is the official representating student entity that is dedicated to the promotion, organization, and conduction of sports by HKUST students for HKUST students. It is comprised of nominated students from a variety of Sports Clubs.

The Assocation aims to promote a healthy lifestyle, raise student awareness and spur interest in sports activities, cultivate a positive sporting culture, and nuture a contagious spirit for sports at HKUST. It organizes the HKUST Intramural Sports Competitions and other university-wide sports functions such as the Sports Teams Gathering, Sports Leader Training Camp, HKUST-UM Sports Exchange.
